FAME Origins
FAME International College (FAME) was established since 1998 in Kuching in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. FAME is an acronym for Financial, Accountancy, Management, and Entrepreneurship – four disciples that represent the core of the college.
The vision of FAME is to be ‘A world class education provider that transforms individuals by nurturing, cultivating and instilling wisdom and high awareness’.
FAME focuses on professional and entrepreneurial development that ensures students are successful not only in their studies and future careers but also in their daily lives. This focused approach resulted in students graduating with distinctions at all levels.
The college encourages a participative culture amongst its academics, staff and students. This resulted in a consistent exchange of information that contributes to the creation of a conducive and comfortable environment for work and study.
The campus is equipped with wifi facility for easy access by students and staff. FAME’s library is fill with reading resources for research and study. It has rooms for small group discussions. The computer lab provides students with free Internet access for research and assignments writing.

2. FAME International Skills Academy
About Us
FAME International Skills Academy is a vocational training provider approved and accredited by Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK), Ministry of Human Resources since February 2022. Located in the vibrant city of Kuching, our academy plays a vital role in enhancing the skill sets of individuals, dedicated to providing comprehensive skill training and development.
Skills training is of paramount importance to the community as it equips individuals with practical expertise and knowledge. By imparting valuable skills, our academy foster self-sufficiency and empowers individuals to pursue fulfilling careers and contribute effectively to the local economy.
In the context of Malaysia, skills training plays a crucial role in addressing the demand for skilled labour across various industries. The comprehensive programs offered at our academy enable individuals to acquire specialized skills, ensuring a competent and adaptable workforce capable of meeting the challenges of a rapidly evolving job market.
Moreover, our academy actively collaborates with various industries, governmental bodies, and our organizations to bridge the gap between academia and industry. By fostering strong partnerships, we facilitate knowledge exchange, promote research and development, and encourage entrepreneurship. Through our comprehensive training programs, trainees acquire not only technical skills also soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. These skills are invaluable in today’s dynamic job market, ensuring our trainees are well-rounded individuals capable of adapting to evolving industry trends.
Additionally, we emphasizes character development and instils values such as discipline, professionalism, and ethical conduct in our trainees. We believe that holistic development is crucial for long-term success in both personal and professional endeavours.
The first vocational course that has been launched and offered is Office Administration course. This course curriculum covers reception, office finance, purchasing, inventory, logistic handling, office document preparation and staff administrative supervision. The course is practice-based, supplemented by theory, and suitable and open to those aged 16 and above. This also means that students can obtain the Malaysia Skills Certificate (Level 3) (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Tahap 3) issued by the Department of Skills Development after taking 2-year course. The 2-year study includes a 3-month internship which exposes and prepares the students for the real-life industry environment.
We will continuously review and update our program offerings to align with industry trends and demands.

3. FAME International Training
About Us
FAME International Training Sdn Bhd (461059-U) was established since 1998 in Kuching in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. FAME provides qualified, innovative and diversity training opportunity for individual who wish to develop themselves and a platform for nurturing, developing and expanding business locally and internationally.
FAME focuses on professional and entrepreneurial development that ensures one is successful not only in their studies and careers but also in their daily lives. This focused approach resulted in one graduating with distinctions at all levels.
In line with the entrepreneurial development focus, FAME has been instrumental in co-organizing the ASEAN-CHINA Entrepreneurs’ (ACE) Conference. This major event provides the platform for the region’s entrepreneurs to explore and gain inroads into various businesses and trade opportunities within the ASEAN countries and China.
In 2017, FAME had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alibaba.com, the Business to Business (B2B) arm of Alibaba Group, to jointly offer e-commerce training designed to equip SMEs and individuals with skill sets required by today’s digital economy, which is in line with the state government’s goal to transform Sarawak into a digitalized economy. This is a golden opportunity for our Sarawakian business owner and entrepreneur to go online and take part in the international market place.
